A local Church wanted to provide a gift to the City’s new Coastal Rail Trail.
I believed that the gift would have more meaning if members of the Church created it. I involved the youth group by first encouraging the children to walk the trail and make observations regarding nature along the trail. At the first tile workshop I brought a complete list of plants used along the trail. The children were then free to create a field of flowers with the simple concept that where there is water, there is life. | |
